Spring & Autumn 2025 Programmes

We're opening enrolment for carefully structured courses starting September 2025. Each programme brings together practical skill-building with real project work—because learning UI/UX means doing it, not just talking about it.

What You'll Actually Work On

Our courses aren't theoretical. You'll spend time on projects that mirror what designers face in agencies and product teams. Expect critique sessions, iteration cycles, and plenty of feedback along the way.

User Research Foundations

Learn how to conduct interviews, run usability tests, and synthesize findings into actionable insights. This isn't about fancy methods—it's about listening and understanding what people need.

Interface Design Principles

Build interfaces that make sense. We'll cover layout, hierarchy, typography, and colour—but more importantly, you'll learn why certain choices work and others don't.

Prototyping & Testing

You'll create interactive prototypes and test them with real users. It's messy sometimes, but that's where the learning happens—when your assumptions meet actual behaviour.

Design Systems Thinking

Understand how design scales. From buttons to full component libraries, you'll see how consistency helps teams move faster without sacrificing quality.

"
I joined the October 2024 cohort without much design background. What surprised me most was how much we focused on process over tools. The instructors pushed us to defend our decisions and consider alternative approaches. That critical thinking has stayed with me.

Design workshop session with collaborative whiteboarding

Workshop-Based Learning

Most sessions are hands-on. We'll tackle design challenges together, critique each other's work, and learn from both successes and mistakes. It's collaborative, not competitive.

Real Project Briefs

Each course includes projects based on actual design problems. You'll work through ambiguity, make tough calls, and build a portfolio that shows how you think.

Group feedback session during design review

Weekly Feedback Cycles

You'll present work in progress every week. It's nerve-wracking at first, but learning to articulate your thinking and respond to critique is what separates good designers from great ones.

Small Group Format

We cap courses at 16 participants. This means you get meaningful attention, not generic advice. Our instructors know your work and can offer feedback that actually helps you improve.

Upcoming Course Schedule

All courses run for 12 weeks with two evening sessions per week. You'll need about 8-10 hours weekly for coursework between sessions. Applications open in June 2025.
